This Meet Monday highlights our Administrator and one of our owners, C. Renee Watkins, RN. Renee graduated from Del Mar College and has been a nurse for over 35 years. She started at a Med Surg nurse at Coastal Bend College. She first moved to Rockport in 1978 when she was a Freshman in High School. Her aunt lived here and being very close with her mom, they decided to make the move. She remained here and raised all four children in Rockport!

Two years into college to become a teacher and coach she changed her degree plan and decided to become a nurse. She enjoys working with all types of patients and being able to see improvements is very rewarding! Over the years she has worked in numerous fields like Labor and Delivery, new born nursing, post surgery, pre-op, ICU, med surg, nursing homes, but Home Health is her biggest passion.

When she is not helping run a local home health company she enjoys music and music trivia. Renee also enjoys adult coloring books! On the weekends she is rarely sitting down, you can find her outside being active, playing sports, or spending time with family!
